Moldova coach wants to qualify for World Cup

Moldova’s national team coachEngin Firat is one of the experienced in football. Even at the age of 50, he has been able to manage multiple clubs in various positions so far. He has been in charge of various clubs like Sepahan and Gostaresh in Iran. Since then, he has been able to progress to various jobs and he is hopeful that one day he will be able to manage a team at the World Cup.Firat remains hopeful that Moldova will be able to qualify for the World Cup one-day. So far, the national team has been unable to make major success when it comes to the qualification to major tournaments.

Since becoming a FIFA member after the breakup of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, Moldova has been unable to qualify for any of the European Championship or World Cup. However, the team has been making a lot of progress compared to previous years and they are now in a position to challenge for the last few spots that would help the team qualify for the World Cup. The national team is in a group containing the likes of Australia, Denmark, Israel, Scotland, and the Faroe Islands. All teams have enough strength to be able to qualify for the World Cup, but they are not top ranking teams.

“I would like to take Moldovan football to a good level as possible. Wherever it is. Because it has serious problems waiting to be solved. Frankly, it was a matter of heart for me. “My heart says your work is not over yet. Let’s say better. I have goals that I have planned my career in this direction in order to be in the future. Firstly, to participate in the World Cup one day and to be successful. I hope God will give me this with the Turkish National Team. “to run one of the well-known clubs in Europe,” said Firat.
